Extra virgin olive oil produced in the Alentejo region (Portugal) mainly from native olive varieties: Galega, Cordovil, Cobrançosa and Azeiteira, harvested from centuries-old olive trees.
The olives arrive at the mill just a few hours after harvesting, where they are selected and sorted according to their quality and variety before being processed. Extraction is carried out using the cold-press method at less than 27°C at the Herdade do Esporão mill. Sustainable methods are used throughout the process, showing the utmost respect for nature and ensuring that the nutrients, aromas and flavours are preserved intact.
