DESCRIPCTION:
Spelt is an ancient cereal that has been rediscovered and widely used because of its digestibility and organoleptic characteristics. Rustichella d'Abruzzo's spelt spaghetti has been a great success, with its nutty flavour and rough surface working well with a variety of sauces. Spaghetti, originally called ‘maccheroni’, is reduced to a length of 25 cm for convenience.
The durum wheat spaghetti made by Rustichella d'Abruzzo has an incomparable rusticity and intense wheat flavour, making it very versatile in the kitchen. They can be tried with fish-based seasonings, such as langoustine and organic olive oil, or with a Genoese pesto.
The recommended cooking time is 9 to 11 minutes.
