Penne rigate from Rustichella d'Abruzzo is a pasta made using a bronze stretching process and is slowly dried to obtain a rough, porous surface that absorbs the seasonings perfectly.
They are delicious with traditional sauces such as arrabbiata, amatriciana and Norma, but can also be used with all kinds of sauces.
The recommended cooking time is 10-12 minutes.
Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina (87.5%), water (12.5%).
Allergens: Contains wheat (gluten).
This form of pasta, smaller than penne rigate, is commonly used to create main courses with a bacon vinaigrette, cherry tomatoes and basil, or a full ortolana sauce.
