Extra virgin olive oil of early harvest and cold extraction of the Picual variety produced in Mogón (Jaén).
It is a powerful and very aromatic oil, with green herbaceous notes. Fluid on the palate with the appearance of herbaceous notes. Astringent and bitter from the beginning. Then the spiciness appears to balance with the bitterness. Persistent fruitiness on the palate.
Serving suggestions: Ideal for eating raw, in salads, on toast or as an accompaniment to any type of cooked dish.

Puerta de Las Villas is the trademark of the Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza San Vicente de Mogón (Jaén) founded in 1966 by some 100 pioneering partners in cooperative work.
Its olive orchards coexist naturally and are perfectly integrated with the Mediterranean Forest of our Sierra de Las Villas. The Natural Park of the Sierra de Las Villas (Biosphere Reserve) between the rivers Aguascebas and Guadalquivir, and has unique climatic and soil conditions that give our AOVE its special organoleptic characteristics.
The variety of olive cultivated is exclusively Picual. The entire harvest of olives with which our AOVE is made is exclusive to our members and our environment.
