Organic unfiltered extra virgin olive oil produced in Torres (Jaén) with olives of the Picual variety harvested during the month of October. It is protected under the P.D.O. Sierra Mágina and endorsed with the Degusta Jaén ‘Etiqueta Negra’ and ‘Etiqueta ECO’ quality seals.
On the nose, this oil has an intense green fruitiness that is accompanied by persistent notes of freshly cut grass, green almonds, tomato and artichoke. On the palate, it stands out mainly for its balanced bitterness and spiciness of medium intensity.
Food pairing: It is an oil to be consumed raw. It enhances the flavour of cheeses, cold meats, smoked salmon and octopus. It also provides an unequalled texture and flavour in sweets and cakes with dark chocolate and exotic fruits such as mango.

Tradition, quality and sustainability are three concepts that perfectly define Pintarré. This family project has an impressive traditional mountain olive grove located in the heart of the Sierra Mágina, in the province of Jaén.
At Pintarré they have been producers since 1975, and since 2014 they have been certified for organic production, which means that all their extra virgin olive oil is 100% organic and is also protected under the Sierra Mágina Protected Designation of Origin.
One of the most distinguishing aspects of Pintarré is its focus on biodiversity, as they practice regenerative agriculture. Their olive trees are guarded by sheep that maintain the vegetation cover without affecting the tree and provide the soil with natural fertiliser. This method protects the soil from erosion and promotes a balanced ecosystem.
The Pintarré estate is also a great refuge for local fauna. In its olive trees you can see nesting boxes hanging at the disposal of insectivorous birds. These birds help to keep pests under control in a natural way, avoiding the use of chemical products and preserving the health of the olive grove.
Pintarré promotes environmental education by giving introductory courses on birds and organic vegetable gardens, as well as repopulation workshops with native trees and shrubs.
Another of Pintarré's passions is beekeeping. Next to their olive groves they have several beehives and they themselves produce their own 100% organic, raw and unpasteurised honey. In addition, they also produce other gourmet products of excellent quality such as jams, sweet creams and pâté.
