Since 2005, the association Grandes Pagos de Olivar has established itself as the elite of Spanish olive growers.
Its main objective is to promote and protect the quality and image of Spanish extra virgin olive oils produced on selected estates and «grandes pagos».
Therefore, the members of Grandes Pagos de Olivar, coming from different Spanish olive-growing areas, share a distinctive feature: their extra virgin olive oils are produced in an enclosed area, where the concept of «château», typical of wine culture, is replicated in the olive grove.
