The flower of Sel de Guerande is composed of small white crystals that form on the surface of the water. Very rare and of exceptional quality, this salt is selected by hand as a "flower in the water" with a wooden harvesting tool. Simply drained in the sun, the Fleur de Sel is rich in trace elements.

Etablissements Bourdic, originally a family business, was created in 1975 by Mr. Bourdic, a salt producer in Guérande. Marketing began with the sale of coarse salt to local and regional retailers. It then gradually expanded with the launch of the first dry and ground Guérande salt.
