Extra virgin olive oil from L'Albagés (Lleida) produced with Arbequina olives and certified with the Les Garrigues Protected Designation of Origin.
The olives are harvested in mid-November, when temperatures are lower and the fruit begins to change colour, in order to extract the maximum aroma, flavour and nutritional properties from the Arbequina olives. Cold extraction at 22ºC preserves all the antioxidants and polyphenols in the extra virgin olive oil.
The nose is smooth, delicate and complex. Sweet notes predominate over intense ones, giving way to a pleasant aroma of red fruits and ripe banana. There is also a medium intensity with aromas of green almond, artichoke, grass and tomato. On the palate, it is pleasant and silky, with sweet and slightly bitter and spicy notes, leaving a lingering almond flavour.
Recommendations for use: Fontfleurie is very versatile and ideal for enhancing a wide variety of dishes. It is an extra virgin olive oil perfect for salads, toast, meat, fish and also for simmering. It is also particularly suitable and interesting for use in baking.
Fontfleurie received the Best Olive Oil of Catalonia Award in the Medium Fruity Category in the 2025/26 campaign.

The history of Cuadrat Valley is closely linked to that of Catalonia. In the late 1930s, fleeing the Spanish war, Sebastià Cuadrat Realp, originally from L'Albagés, left his grandmother's olive grove and settled in Bordeaux. Eighty years later, when an olive grove came up for sale in L'Albagés, his granddaughter, Evelyne Cuadrat Teycheney, decided to buy it. With her husband Patrick Teycheney and daughter Caroline, she decided to take up the family adventure from the point where history had left off.
Since 2014, the family has been acquiring plots of land, creating a 90-hectare estate, which they have structured and managed to follow the criteria of sustainable agriculture. Combining their taste for respect for tradition and innovation, their aim is to produce a premium extra virgin olive oil with Protected Designation of Origin Les Garrigues.
