This extra virgin olive oil is a single variety of the Cuquillo variety. The Cuquillo or Lechín de Granada Olive originates from the Murcia region.
This variety, with its small fruit and late harvest, is very popular in the Murcia region, particularly for the production of extra virgin olive oil.
Its flavour and aromatic profile may be different due to this particularity in the harvesting process. Its olive oil is more fiery than bitter, of medium intensity, but also very mild.
Recommended uses: Mayonnaise, sauces, stews. Salads, for those who like a mild olive oil.
