ECOLIBOR is a family-run business which began its project to produce organic extra virgin olive oil in 1997 with the recovery of an abandoned olive grove in the Sierra de los Ibores (Cáceres), owned by the family.

It wasn't until 2004 that we began marketing extra virgin olive oil under the ECOLIBOR brand. These years were fundamental in achieving certain quality parameters and obtaining the official organic product label.

Ecolibor extra virgin olive oil has won numerous medals in international competitions. The oil's high polyphenol content has won it gold medals in prestigious competitions such as the London International Olive Oil Competition, BIOL and Ecotrama.
