Higuera S.L. was founded by a small family business located in the town of Almoharín, in Cáceres, a land where fig trees abound.
It was in this beautiful corner of Spanish geography, in 1989, that the couple formed by Senador Valero and Felipa Nieva had the idea of mixing dried figs with chocolate. The result is Rabito Royale, a candy now enjoyed the world over. A patent and a resounding commercial success gave birth to the company of the creators of this delicious and original product.
Today, Senador and Raquel Valero, children of the founders, run the company. For over 30 years, they have been making constant improvements to processes and organization, but have managed to retain the original recipe, the guarantee of the quality and authenticity of Rabitos Royale.
