Olive oil of Arbequina variety
Top quality oil, renowned for its very low acidity of 0.1%. Produced and refined by Valdecuevas at Tierra de Campos in Medina de Rioseco.
Intense aromas of green grass and almonds on the nose, with a complex flavour of almonds, grass and banana peel. A very balanced and harmonious oil.
Valdecuevas makes it a point of honour to respect the environment, and puts this into practice with its self-consuming photovoltaic solar system, the use of the stones in its boiler and the composting of the pulp, bringing things full circle.

Pago de Valdecuevas oils are made from olives grown in its own olive grove. The 150-hectare farm is located on moorland 850 meters above sea level, in the town of Medina de Rioseco, Valladolid. The proximity of the oil mill, located on the farm itself, means that the extraction process can be carried out in a very short time, resulting in a quality product and reduced environmental impact.
Mention should also be made of the place where the olive trees grow, which, in addition to being the historic site of the 1808 battle of El Moclín, gives Pago de Valdecuevas oils a highly distinctive identity, resulting in an Arbequina of superior intensity and complexity. This is why the olive grove is the fundamental key to our fruit.
The climate is continental Mediterranean, with great thermal contrasts between seasons and between day and night. This contrast is particularly marked during periods of vegetative activity, resulting in exceptional aromatic quality.
The estate has 150,000 olive trees, with a production of 7,000 kilograms per hectare. The oil mill is equipped with the latest technology to extract all the organoleptic and nutritional richness of the fruit and transfer it to the bottle, preserving all its freshness.
