Pagos de Familia Marqués de Griñón is a family-run business whose aim is to achieve excellence and a distinctive personality in the olive oils and wines it produces.
To achieve this, it relies on an ancient European tradition, the pago, which consists of producing olives or grapes separately, in situ, from an estate with uniform soil and microclimatic characteristics that characterize it as a distinct terroir.
It was Don Carlos Falcó who, from 1974 onwards, promoted this age-old agricultural tradition by giving it a new commercial dimension.
He set about making the Marqués de Griñón brand a global symbol of excellence in olive oil and wine. In fact, Pagos de Familia Marqués de Griñón has managed to position itself in the world's top lists for these two essential elements of Mediterranean food and culture.
