Dulce de Leche is a product obtained by heat concentration of a mixture made mainly of milk and sugars.
The Havanna company was founded in 1947 and began its activity as a producer of alfajores in the city of Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The first product developed was the chocolate "Alfajores Santa Mónica", which was sold in various places in Buenos Aires for a short period. After alfajores, other products such as milk jam were added. Havanna products were made to the same recipe, which is still used today. Over the years, Havana's alfajores have become a classic for holidaymakers in the coastal city, and today are considered one of the best alfajores in the world.
