The secret treasure of the forest encapsulated with art and know-how. This special jam is expertly made using wild blueberries, the flavour of which is much more pronounced than its cultivated variant.
A real treat for lovers of red berries, as it is made in our century-old double-bottomed steaming pots according to our traditional techniques and recipes, the wild berries are the stars of this great jam as they are kept whole, lightly candied in the cane sugar. A jam to be eaten by the spoonful.
At Confituras Tradicionales they are heirs to a legacy. They are located in the Region of Murcia, but their history has its roots in France, land of jams and gastronomic traditions, where their parents learned a trade and a tradition. A trade that today they perpetuate with the utmost responsibility and pride.
The history of Confituras Tradicionales is that of a family saga that has jam marked in its DNA. Today, the company is made up of Francisco José and Mari Paz Fernández, children of a married couple of emigrant artisans who learned in the sunny Provençal lands of the south of France a know-how and a tradition from the hands of the Octave masters, founders of the legendary Maison Octave.
