It has a strong expression of the sea in nose and mouth, although there are also other unique and surprising sensations resulting from mixing this marine product with fresh olive juice, giving you green and fruity notes that positively intensify the green algae, iodine, and crustacean blend.
It is very fresh and elegant, with a mild bitterness balanced with a mild spiciness. The flavour is very sweet, balanced with the salty reminders of the sea.

Castillo de Canena is a distinct and unique company, as it is involved in the whole process of creating extra virgin oils, from the trees and the land to its commercialization. Our olive groves are carefully supervised and cared for in their different annual agricultural tasks. Our olives are selected at the optimum moment for their collection by hand, and be respectfully transferred to our mill. This guarantees the quality of flavors and aromas, supported by facilities already in the process of ISO 22,000 certification.
More than 75 people make up our team; managers, field experts, farmers, masters of oil mills, quality controllers and processes in the mill, economists, management and administration personnel, commercial executives, etc.
