The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Santa Isabel de Torres has its origins in the water of Torres, another of the hallmarks of this municipality. A society of farmers who supplied the village with electricity through the ‘light factory’, the Río Torres hydroelectric power station, later founded the cooperative for oil production in 1971, with the common goal of creating a high-quality extra virgin olive oil, of which they could be proud, extracted from the fruits of their mountain olive trees. This is how Señorío de Camarasa was born.

Señorío de Camarasa extra virgin olive oil comes from centuries-old olive trees in the heart of the Sierra Mágina Natural Park. This is a protected natural area, where mountains and biological diversity take centre stage. In this environment, farmers cultivate with skill and care, from generation to generation, a traditional olive grove that produces exceptional fruit every harvest.

The quality of Señorío de Camarasa has been recognised worldwide, earning it a place in Evooleum's prestigious Top 10. This extra virgin olive oil has also won awards in specialised competitions in Athens and Japan, as well as in Jaén Selección.
