The olive harvest begins in mid-October with early or green extra virgin olive oils, which are distinguished by their emerald green colour, intense fruitiness, aromas and flavours, as well as their high antioxidant and polyphenol content.
The quality of Campos de Biatia has been recognised in leading specialist competitions at national and international level, such as Evooleum, IberOleum, CINVE, Athena IOOC and Jaén Selección.
