Cockles in their natural state are a highly prized delicacy on the coasts of Galicia. Galician cockles from Real Conservera Española come from the Ría de Noia, located south of A Coruña.
Protected by the Cofradía de Noia, these cockles are a great culinary treasure. Their origin, in crystalline waters rich in nutrients, gives these canned cockles an exceptional flavour and quality.
