DESCRIPCTION:
This 260g jar of capers contains capers, salt and vinegar as its main ingredients.
Capers have been widely used in cooking, particularly in Italian sauces and pasta dishes, and in Greek cuisine since ancient times. They go particularly well with fish, such as sea bream or salmon, and with anchovies in pasta sauces, such as puttanesca. They are also delicious on pizzas, focaccias and chicken. In modern cooking, they can also be found in sauces such as tartare, remoulade or steak tartare.
To preserve them, we recommend leaving them in their original liquid (water and vinegar) until the best before date. If desired, capers can also be preserved in extra virgin olive oil to capture their acidity and intense flavour.
