Extra virgin olive oil made from the best olives from the Oliveira da Serra olive groves, which means the oil is as young as the fruit from which it is made.
This oil from the Portuguese town of Alentejo is made from the Arbequina, Arbosana and Koroneiki olive varieties.
It is medium-bodied and mild, with green fruit aromas reminiscent of banana peel and artichoke. On the palate, it is very mild, with an almond flavour and a slight ardour.
The Portuguese company Sovena Group has been creating links between the land and the table for over a hundred years, between those who grow and those who eat. We are committed to reinventing before inventing, because we know that “bringing back” is the most revolutionary attitude, and we seek balance for all, including planet Earth. And among all this, we cultivate the land with commitment: after more than 100 years of cultivation, we would like to nourish the next hundred years.
