DESCRIPCTION:
The Mario Solinas International Quality Award has been awarded annually since 2000 by the International Olive Oil Council (IOC), the highest regulatory body for olive oil, made up of experts from most of the producing and consuming countries.
The aim of the competition is to select and highlight the Extra Virgin Olive Oils with the best organoleptic characteristics. This award is named after the Italian professor Mario Solinas, a prominent promoter of the sensory analysis of EVOO.
These are the oils awarded in 2021:
- Balcón del Guadalquivir: Picual (Jaén, Spain)
- Oro de Cánava: Picual (Jaén, Spain)
- Parqueoliva Serie Oro: Hojiblanca and Picuda (Córdoba, Spain)
Presented in an elegant wooden box that includes 3 bottles of 500 ml. and a diploma certifying the award.
