EVOO World Ranking is a non-profit ranking created to give worldwide visibility to the most awarded extra virgin olive oils each year in the main specialised competitions. The competitions are ranked by continent and country, with the Mario Solinas International Quality Award being the most important of all in the evaluation.
Evooleum is the world's most influential and popular international competition for the quality of extra virgin olive oils, which annually awards the 100 best oils in the world and then groups them together in the Evooleum Guide. A group of world-renowned expert tasters are in charge of assessing the organoleptic quality of all the oils presented.
The Mario Solinas International Quality Award has been awarded annually since 2000 by the International Olive Oil Council (IOC), the highest regulatory body for olive oil, made up of experts from most of the producing and consuming countries. The aim of the competition is to select and highlight the extra virgin olive oils with the best organoleptic characteristics.
