Casas de Hualdo, Reserva de Familia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of four varieties of olive: Cornicabra, Picual, Arbequina and Manzanilla. It is produced in very limited quantities by selecting the best olives from each variety. Cold extraction takes place just 6 hours after harvesting to preserve all the oil's qualities. The Casas de Hualdo mill is equipped with modern technology to extract the best from the olives, which are processed immediately after being picked to prevent fermentation.
This oil is considered precious because of its unique taste and the passion with which it is produced. It is generally kept under lock and key to preserve its quality. The oil has aromas of tomato leaf, cut grass, eucalyptus leaf, artichoke, lettuce, almond and apple. On the palate, it offers bitter and spicy notes of medium intensity with a robust balance.
