Buelo Miel has beehives located close to the "Hoces del Gabriel" nature park. Thanks to centuries-old contracts, they are located in the best areas of La Manchuela, known for its rich flora. The quality of the honey depends on the surrounding flora, and this region has one of the richest flowering seasons in terms of quality and quantity in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula.
Buelo Miel offers a gift pack containing different types of honey :
Thyme honey, made from the nectar of the thyme flower, is an antiseptic that also boosts physical strength.
Orange blossom honey, popular on the world market, is traditionally used as an antispasmodic and sedative.
Lavender honey, obtained from the lavender flower, is an excellent antiseptic for the bronchi and lungs, and is recommended for heart problems and melancholy.
Rosemary honey is a general stimulant, acting against liver disease, epilepsy, rheumatism, gout, cirrhosis and other ailments. It is also used to soothe muscular pains.
Heather honey is anti-rheumatic and diuretic, ideal for the urinary tract, prostate and urinary stones. It is rich in mineral salts, iron and enzymes, making it very useful in cases of demineralisation and anaemia.
Finally, eucalyptus honey is traditionally used to treat coughs, inflammations and colds.
