DESCRIPCTION:
The Basque chilli pepper is a very special type of pepper, typical of Spanish gastronomy and widely used in Spanish kitchens. When summer arrives on the peninsula, you can find these peppers practically everywhere in the north of Spain.
These are no ordinary chilli peppers: they stand out for their flavour, colour, tender texture and very thin skin. Try them grilled with a little salt, pickled as an accompaniment to salads, in a gilda or banderilla, to spice up your stews or to accompany your legume dishes, especially red beans.
