Clams from the Galician rias are carefully selected and bought from the best fish markets in Galicia, to guarantee the highest quality. They are purified in seawater and cleaned by hand, one by one, to remove gills and sand. Once clean, they are impeccably presented in a box. Clams are considered to be the jewels of canning, and are highly prized for their intense flavour and firm texture.
Real Conservera Española's natural clams from the Galician estuaries are highly prized both nationally and internationally, and can be used in a wide range of culinary preparations, from simple snacks to gourmet dishes.
