A sausage with a long history
Of humble origin, according to some writings, it dates back to the 18th century, when, given the scarcity of rice and onions during the slaughter, it was decided to add potatoes, thus creating this sausage, so emblematic of the region, especially of the province of Cáceres.
A delicacy
Ingredients are a reflection of the richness of Extremadura, as it combines the essence of the Extremadura pastureland thanks to the meat of its Iberian pigs, the products offered by the land, such as paprika and tubers, as well as the EVOO from our olive trees.
