DESCRIPCTION:
A unique jam with a very special heritage. The fruit from which it is made is a variety of pumpkin typical of French Provence, a special fruit that cannot be eaten raw. Because of the hardness of its rind and the amount of grains, it is a difficult fruit to work with, so in the past the Master Confectioners tested their apprentices by measuring their ability to make a good marmalade from this fruit, which is also called "Marmalade Pumpkin".
Pumpkin mixed with lemon results in a delicate jam with a smooth and elegant flavour.
For Confituras Tradicionales, this jam is a tribute to the teachings of the Masters who have gone before them. Its recipe is one of the best kept secrets of the Master Confectioners.
